A literary lecture was held on 28.7.2023 (Friday) at the Government Technical Institute (Mohnyin) with the title “Read for the Future”. This lecture was attended by Mr. Thiha Hlaing (Mya ye Nandar), Chairman of the Mohnyin Township Libraries Foundation, and all the teachers and students.
The ceremony started at 9:00 a.m. According to the program (1), the principal, Dr. Kyaw Kyaw Myint, gave an opening speech. According to the program (2), the chief writer gave a speech on the topic “Read for the future”.
In this speech, he mainly preached for young people to learn to value time and morals and to strengthen their cooperation.
Sayar Agyi Ko Ko also gave souvenir books to the students who could answer the questions asked. The ceremony was successfully held by donating one hundred thousand new research books to the head teacher for the school library.
